Consolidation at all costs.

Companies with weak financials are smart enough to understand where their place in the market is. Slack understood too, but only after seeing what “network effects” really means (hint! Microsoft)

The acquisition made total sense for Adobe, after previously acquiring frame.io – a cloud-based collaboration platform, mainly used by users for its video capabilities. To be clear, the cost is higher even by Adobe’s standards, but maybe they see some potential I don’t see yet.

The consolidation trend will continue, because the pond is full of fish: Sketch, Canva, InVision and other productivity apps like MIRO, MURAL, Notion, Mem etc
