WSJ has an extensive article on tech layoffs. Last December I had a discussion with an entrepreneur who was looking to hire a software engineer. The latter was asking EUR 5,000 (NET) per month and was not even willing to have a skills verification test.

So, in a way, 2023 will be a great year for companies who will focus more on the business side and not looking to recruit every six months.

Those affected by the layoffs are both blessed and cursed: What went wrong?….and/or…. How about starting my own company?
