Core gamers represent around 250m MAUs, but mobile created a much bigger market

Since most of my comments received here were related to gaming, I said why not allocate one week for some key information from this (magic) industry.

So, we have a market of 250-300 million core users which are more or less the number of monthly active users of Twitter.

The mobile increased the pie, but with 2,7 bn mobile users the total market value is not passing 185 bn USD (or around 300 bn USD with China, according to estimates). Here we have at least one clear winner: Roblox.

So what’ next for the market? VR&AR, tokenisation, more mobile, more consoles (SaaS) and more.
